Data usage disclosure

• Use of name and email address - Your name is displayed on the app for you to see. Your email address is used for log-in purposes to send you a one-time password (OTP). Your name and email address are visible to dance instructors. Your name and email address are not shared with anyone else.
  
  Opt-in: If you grant permission, within the app, to participate in the Leaderboard, then your name (or nickname) will be shown to user students, if you appear on the leaderboard. This is fully under your control.
   

• Use of profile images - When configuring your user profile, an optional photo may be uploaded, or a selfie may be taken with your phone camera This photo will be shown to the instructors (admin users) of the app so that they may recognise you as a student (user).  The image would appear as a small avatar, to you, when you are using the app. The images will not be used for any other purpose, and will not be shared, posted online, or sold.
  
  Opt-in: If you grant permission, within the app, to participate in the Leaderboard, then your photo (or a generic silhouette image) will be shown to user students, if you appear on the leaderboard. This is fully under your control.
   

• Use of phone camera - In order to function correctly, the app needs to use your phone's camera. This is so that QR codes can be scanned. The camera is also used, if you choose to take an optional selfie as your profile photo. If you choose to take a selfie, that image will be stored as your profile photo
   

• Use of lesson attendance data - This is used to calculate your course completion statistics, which are visible to you, and to instructors. Your lesson statistics will be used to determine if you qualify for Badges in the app. These badges are visible to you and to instructors. This information is not shared with any third parties.
  
  The app offers a feature for you to share your badges on social media. This is entirely under your control.
  
  Opt-in: If you grant permission, within the app, to participate in the Leaderboard, then your lesson statistics will be used to score you for possible inclusion on the leaderboard. If you appear on the leaderboard, then your statistics will be shown to user students. This is fully under your control.
   

• Use of push notifications data - If you grant permission to send push notifications, then your device ID, as well as your internal user ID (a unique code generated by the app itself), are stored for the purpose of being able to send you push notifications. The push notifications themselves are messages to let you know when registration is open, for physical dance classes for a particular month.
